Dr. Katie Brown

Audiologist - Chattanooga Location

For Dr. Katie Brown, audiology brings together her two passions: technology and helping people. Growing up surrounded by technology, she was drawn to a career that would allow her to continuously learn and apply it in meaningful ways. Her first introduction to hearing loss came in high school, when the Alabama Deaf and Blind School visited, sparking an interest that grew into her professional calling.

Dr. Brown has a strong passion for cochlear implants and dizziness management. She has completed multiple CI trainings and conferences and values the problem-solving nature of audiology—listening to patients’ histories, conducting thorough testing, and putting the pieces together to find answers. She also takes pride in seeing patients’ lives transformed, whether through advanced implant technology or something as simple as relief from tinnitus.

Outside of work, Dr. Brown enjoys baking bread, exploring local coffee shops, and playing sand volleyball with colleagues. She’s a proud dog mom to Athena, a golden retriever who loves hikes and making new friends. Patients are often surprised to learn that she has a bee farm back in Alabama, and one of her bucket-list goals is to read 150 books in a year. A lifelong tennis fan and player, she especially enjoys following her favorite player, Carlos Alcaraz.
