Dr. Hannah Dearth

Audiologist - Chattanooga & Hixson Locations

As a college freshman, Dr. Hannah Dearth thought she knew what she wanted to do with her life. She declared her major in Communication Sciences and Disorders at West Virginia University with plans to be a Speech Pathologist. Problem was, she realized Speech Pathology was not her cup of tea. What she relished were the Audiology classes she was taking! Time for a life course correction! She went on to complete her doctoral work in Audiology also at West Virginia University. Now, she practices a specialty within her specialty as Cochlear Implant Program Director at Johnson Audiology. What is her career mantra? Communication is the lifeline of a person’s most precious relationships. Nothing makes her flash her megawatt smile quicker than seeing a patient’s face light up when better hearing helps them reconnect with loved ones and activating a person's new cochlear implant is especially gratifying. New to Chattanooga, she and her husband love taking their beloved mini-golden doodle, Auggie, to the city’s dog friendly restaurants, parks, and hiking trails. The family also loves to travel, and she has a goal of seeing all 50 states before she is 50.
