Laura Ford, Au.D.

Dr. Laura Ford is married to Greg Ford, and they have a daughter, Emma. They moved to Jasper/Kimball area in 2005 and enjoy traveling, the outdoors, and the arts. They are also members of St. Jude Catholic Church. Dr. Ford believes that hearing loss is very individual. She stresses that selection of amplification takes a thorough hearing evaluation as well as assessment of the patient’s lifestyle and personal goals to best enhance their life.

Megan Johnson, Au.D.

Dr. Megan Johnson and her husband, Derek, opened Johnson Audiology in the fall of 2009. They set out to build a team of professionals dedicated to improving patients' success with hearing aids.  

Dr. Johnson obtained her BS degree (Communication Disorders) from Western Carolina University, Master's degree in Audiology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a Doctoral Degree in Audiology (AuD) from the University of Florida. Dr. Johnson holds a Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech-Language Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. She is board certified by the American Board of Audiology (ABA).

Dr. Johnson volunteers her services at local assisted living facilities and provides educational seminars at senior centers. Dr. Johnson specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of hearing loss and tinnitus. She can service and clean all brands of hearing aids. Dr. Johnson is nationally accredited and certified with the most recent advances in hearing aid technology.
