Dr. Mary Kate Russell, a native of Mobile, Alabama, received both her Doctor of Audiology in 2014 and her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Psychology in 2008 from the University of South Alabama. Dr. Russell completed her fourth year clinical externship at Cleveland Head and Neck Clinic, P.C. in Cleveland, Tennessee, and following graduation, she joined the faculty at the University of South Alabama as a Clinical Instructor of Audiology.
Dr. Russell is married with two young sons, and her entire family is very happy to be back in the Chattanooga area. On the weekends, the whole family enjoys hiking, camping, visiting the farmer's market and traveling. Dr. Russell's love of the field of Audiology extends beyond her professional life and inter her personal life, as her four year old son was just recently fit with his first pair of hearing aids. Dr. Russell is driven by helping her patients reconnect with the people and world around them, as well as, putting them at ease through counseling and patient education.
