Dr. Anna Wade completed her undergraduate studies at Auburn University and went on to earn her Masters of Arts in Audiology from the University of Tennessee. She continued her training to achieve her Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.) through the University of Tennessee in 2010. She dedicated 8 years of her life to learning the field of audiology because she is passionate about ensuring all those with hearing loss receive the care and support they need to live life to it's fullest.
Growing up with hearing loss herself, Dr. Wade can truly connect to her patients. She understands the unique needs of living with hearing loss and is personally motivated to treat every case as her own. Before joining Johnson Audiology, Dr. Wade worked with a large ENT practice in North Georgia. She jumped at the opportunity to work with the team at Johnson Audiology in 2013. She is now able to spend more time with each patient, listen to their needs, and implement the best solution for their hearing. She particularly enjoys noise induced hearing loss prevention/protection, tinnitus management. and fitting adult and pediatric hearing technologies.
Dr. Wade enjoys time with her husband, Edward, their precious little boy, Ryan, and their fur-child/dog, Maggie. They enjoy spending time outdoors! On weekends, they can often be found at the park, visiting their family farm, running, hiking, fishing or hunting. The Wades are involved with their church and several community organizations. They are enjoying living in the Atlanta area since it's close to family and provides so many opportunities for adventure!
Dr. Wade is Board Certified in Audiology from the American Board of Audiology (ABA) and a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA). She is licensed as an audiologist in both Tennessee and Georgia and is locally involved with the Georgia Academy of Audiology.
