Dr. Courtney Guthrie received her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Mississippi in 2004. She graduated with her Doctoral degree of Audiology (Au.D.) from the University of Memphis in 2009.
Dr. Guthrie specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss, tinnitus, and sound sensitivity. Dr. Guthrie has been a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology since 2009. She received Board Certification in Audiology from the American Board of Audiology in 2014. She is a licensed Audiologist in both Tennessee and Georgia. Dr. Guthrie is the Vice-President of Legislation for the Tennessee Association of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology as well as the President-Elect of the Tennessee Academy of Audiology. She is excited about working with Audiologists in the state of Tennessee and to be the voice for our profession. She is passionate about our abilities to serve our patients and hopes to see us move towards more autonomous roles as healthcare providers.
Courtney is married to John Guthrie and they have two daughters, Ella Parker and Anna Kate. They moved to Chattanooga in 2010. They love living in Chattanooga and all the city has to offer. They are members of Lookout Mountain Presbyterian Church. They enjoy traveling, hiking, and camping.
